Simon is an absolute legend! He checked in on us all the time, felt like I had a chommie around. The room was nicely decorated and had loads of books to chill with. And that brekkie? Flippin’ good, mate!

The atmosphere at House On The Hill Bed & Breakfast truly transported me back in time. The cozy Scottish decor made the room feel inviting. I loved looking out the window at the lush green fields and colorful flowers in the garden. Having a wide selection of books to read while relaxing was a lovely touch. Simon, our host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He ensured we were comfortable and even cleaned our room daily. The cooked English breakfast he prepared was delicious and satisfying. I did notice the beds could use some updating. The springs felt worn and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep. I struggled to connect to the WiFi in the bedroom. it only worked well in the bathroom. Finding the entrance to the place was tricky, as it’s not clearly marked. Those little inconveniences slightly overshadowed the otherwise lovely experience.
